Craig joins Gilhang & Hays from Fidelity Investments and previously managed his own practice at Ameriprise. Prior joining the financial services industry, he spent ten years as an educator, teaching history and theology at both the high school and college levels.
He has two history degrees from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He holds a FINRA Series 7 and Series 66, as well as a Texas General Lines Life & Health Insurance License.
Craig's goal is to help clients achieve their financial goals by means of holistic financial planning. He wants clients to live confidently knowing they have a plan in place that can endure the challenges of life and enable them to retire with dignity, give generously, and leave a strong legacy for those they cherish. His background as an educator gives him a particular passion to help clients understand and take ownership of their financial future.
Craig grew up in Tomball, TX, and moved to the Dallas area in 2008. He now lives in Plano with his wife Cheryl and daughter Vera Dei where they regularly attend Christ Church Plano. When not working or spending time with his family, Craig can often be found reading from a variety of genres.
